With the app "eIDs," you can easily, securely, and digitally present your driver's license data, registration certificate data, and proof of age in Austria using your smartphone - whether it be during a traffic inspection or in a private setting. Share your data with just a tap, completely contactless. No data transfer takes place without your consent.

How it works:

1. Log in to the app "Digital Office" with your ID Austria.
2. Download the "eIDs" app for free.
3. Secure the app with fingerprint recognition or facial recognition.
4. Upload your digital IDs to the "eIDs" app using your ID Austria.
5. Simply present the QR code generated in the app for your digital ID or proof during an inspection. Your counterpart scans the QR code to access the necessary data.

Digital IDs and proofs are valid only within Austria.

You will need:

• The "Digital Office" app installed on the same device
• An ID Austria with full functionality - more information can be found at oe.gv.at/u/id-austria
• Activated fingerprint recognition or facial recognition
• For the digital driver's license: a valid Austrian credit card driver's license
• For the digital registration certificate: a motor vehicle registered in Austria under your name

The "eIDs" app does not require a new user account; instead, you simply identify yourself using your ID Austria. ID Austria is an advancement of the mobile signature and offers secure two-factor authentication for digital services. Log in to the "Digital Office" app with your ID Austria and allow the eIDs app access to the necessary data. Both apps are secured by fingerprint recognition or facial recognition.

The app is continuously being developed and will be expanded with new IDs and proofs in the future.
